Charities

Music in the Brickhills was set up with the express purpose of raising money for local and national charities whilst providing a platform for local musicians to play and sing.  Each year a number of charities are selected to receive the proceeds of our concerts.  So far we have chosen three charities:

The Multiple Sclerosis Society

The MS Society is the UK's largest charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) - about 85,000 people in the UK, all of whom are entitled to support from local MS Society offices. The MS Society is a membership organisation and more details on this can be found in the “Join Us” Section on MS Society website.

St Francis’ Children’s Society

SFCS is a registered local charity and a voluntary adoption agency which in the last 60 years has found families for over 2,000 children. We work with children, adults and families where adoption has or will be a significant part of their lives.

The Parkinson’s Disease Society

Celebrating 40 years of supporting people affected by Parkinson’s, the society continues to raise money and awareness whilst working towards a cure.
